I think you'll all agree with me that this year's Oscars totally sucked ass. With a couple of exceptions, it was a major snoozefest. Sean "Get on with it" Young would have really spiced things up, that is if she wasn't in rehab. One bright spot for me was Best Supporting Actress Tilda Swinton. She's known for her avantgarde and edgy ensembles and she didn't disappoint tonight. Her bizarre black velvet evening gown/Hefty Bag with saggy cowl necked wizard's sleeve really blew my mind. Paired with her translucent alien skin and shock of orange hair, she was a sight to behold. She was really great in Michael Clayton playing a heartless, insecure, evil corporate lawyer. The most shocking and brave part of her performance comes at the very beginning of the film where you see her sitting on a bed in her panties with her fat rolls hanging out. Courage like that deserves to be rewarded.

The oscars WERE pretty dull...no exciting dresses...bah. Tilda Swinton is extraordinary looking, I love how she never seems to be wearing makeup. And...her dress reminded me of a rubbish bag too :)

I didn't really like the oscars either... Only that Spanish guy Javier Bardem was pretty cool speaking to his family in Spanish...

that doodle really captures her. I thought she looked like an alien statue of liberty (in a cool way).

I absolutely agree! She was the highlight of an otherwise dull and predictable evening - excluding John Stewart. I was so pleased that he gave Markéta Irglová a chance to give her acceptance speech.

Good, but you should have doodled her boytoy live-in lover peeking out from under the velvety darkness of her Gladbaggy dress!
